Straight Teeth Without the Metal Mouth? Meet Clear Aligners

Let’s be honest most people would love straighter teeth.

But the thought of traditional braces? Brackets, wires, food getting stuck in places you didn’t know existed…

Not exactly everyone’s idea of fun.

The good news is that there is another option.

We’re now offering clear aligner treatment at our practice, giving you the option to straighten your teeth with a series of discreet, removable aligners rather than traditional braces.

And yes, they’re actually clear.

So how does it work?

Clear aligners are custom-made trays designed specifically for your teeth. Each aligner applies gentle, controlled pressure to gradually move your teeth into their planned positions.

You wear one set for a period of time, then move on to the next with each new aligner making small adjustments along the way.

It’s a bit like giving your teeth a carefully planned roadmap to their new positions.

And because the aligners are clear, they’re much less noticeable than traditional braces.

Life doesn’t stop because you’re straightening your teeth

One of the things people like most about clear aligners is that they’re removable.

Going out for dinner? Take them out.

Having your morning coffee? Take them out.

Brushing and flossing? Take them out.

Heading to a wedding, important meeting or big event? You have the flexibility to remove them when needed.

Of course, there’s a catch and we think it’s only fair to tell you.

You actually have to wear them.

Clear aligners aren’t a magic trick. They work by being worn consistently, as directed by your dentist. The better you stick to your treatment plan, the better chance you have of getting the result you’re aiming for.

It’s not just about having a nicer smile

Straightening your teeth isn’t necessarily just about appearances.

Crowded or overlapping teeth can sometimes be harder to clean effectively. Certain spacing and bite issues can also affect how your teeth meet and function.

Improving the alignment of your teeth can therefore have benefits beyond simply changing the way your smile looks.

That said, every mouth is different. Clear aligners aren’t suitable for every orthodontic problem, which is why we assess your teeth and bite before recommending them.

“Will they work for me?”

That’s probably the question you’re really asking.

Clear aligners can be used to treat a number of common orthodontic concerns, including crowding, spacing and certain bite problems.

But rather than telling everyone that clear aligners are the answer because they’re not – we’d rather take a look at your particular situation and give you an honest answer.

At your consultation, we’ll discuss:

What you’d like to change about your smile The alignment of your teeth and your bite Whether clear aligners are suitable for you What your treatment could involve Your treatment options and costs

And there’s no need to feel pressured into making a decision on the day.

Thinking about straightening your teeth?

Maybe you’ve been thinking about it for years.

Maybe you’ve got one tooth that’s always bothered you.

Maybe your teeth have shifted since you had braces when you were younger.

Or maybe you’ve simply reached the point where you think, “You know what? I’d quite like to do something about this.”

Whatever the reason, we’d be happy to have a chat.

Clear aligners are now available at our practice, giving you another option when it comes to straightening your teeth.

No metal. No wires. No hiding your smile while you’re having treatment.

Just a modern, discreet approach to getting your teeth moving in the right direction.

Curious whether clear aligners could work for you? Contact the practice to book a consultation.
