We reserve time in our appointment book for dental emergencies and, wherever possible, will arrange an appointment on the same day.

When Should I Contact an Emergency Dentist?

Please contact us if you are experiencing:

Facial or gum swelling
A broken or fractured tooth
A lost filling or crown
Dental trauma or an injured tooth
Pain or swelling associated with a wisdom tooth

What Happens at an Emergency Appointment?

Our first priority is to identify the cause of the problem, relieve discomfort and prevent the situation from becoming worse.

Depending on the problem, we may be able to complete treatment at the emergency appointment. In other situations, we will provide the immediate care required to make you comfortable and then arrange a further appointment for definitive treatment.

Where appropriate, we will also discuss why the problem occurred and the options available to reduce the likelihood of it recurring.
